After a five-year hiatus that included solo projects, soundtracks, and more, they've returned with one of their finest works. Blending the intimacy of early albums like "Sinister" and "Tigermilk" with the production quality of their more recent work, "Write About Love" is a moving, diverse, captivating, and often unsettlingly intriguing work from Stuart Murdoch and company. It also features duets with Norah Jones and actress Carey Mulligan ("An Education"), and, like its predecessor, was recorded with a full orchestra by Tony Hoffer at the Sound Factory in Los Angeles. The booklet includes an essay by Stuart Murdoch about the recording.
